Homework
Reading: Your child should read for at least 30 uniterrupted minutes each night. ONE assignment from the tic-tac-toe assignment sheet (stapled inside blue reading homework notebook) should be completed by Friday each week. *Note: If your child is reading a non-fiction book, the menu is in the front of the notebook. If your child is reading a fiction book, the menu is in the back of the notebook.
Math: Math homework will be sent home nightly and is due the following day. If completing an assignment from a math book page, please use loose leaf paper. You may write on any worksheets.
Science/Social Studies: Homework in these areas will be as needed and will typically not occur on a nightly basis.
Spelling: *Pretest will be given each Monday. Homework is based on the words your child misses. These assignments are to be completed in the red Spelling Homework notebook and are due on Fridays.
